​NTV’s fourth season of Ty Super! most successful in show’s history

NTV launched the fourth season of the international singing competition Ty Super! (You are Super!) on September 20. The show’s contestants are children who were left without parental care. The new season features 58 such children, between the ages of seven and 18, from nine countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Georgia, Estonia, Abkhazia and Azerbaijan. Some of the contestants have come on stage in the previous season of the show, while others appeared on the show for the first time.

The first episode of Ty Super! came out with a rating of 4.4% and viewership share of 12.8% - the best numbers across the seasons among viewers aged 18+ living in Russian cities with populations of at least 100,000 people, according to Mediascope. Meanwhile, the show’s finale became the weekend’s top entertainment program with a share of 14.5% among an audience aged 18+ and a share of 10.3% among an audience aged 14-59.

Overall, the fourth season was the most successful edition since the start of the project. The average share of its nine episodes among television viewers aged 18+ was 12.7%, which is the highest figure across all of the show’s seasons.

The show is also popular online. The number of views for all the Ty Super! seasons on YouTube has surpassed 540 million. The online audience of the fourth season has already received more than 1.4 million views.

A TikTok account was set up for the fourth season of Ty Super! with 100,000 people starting to follow @you_super_ntv in just two months. The account also got a broad reach through the show’s unique hashtag #tysuper - more than 37 million. Overall, the account’s posts received more than 15 million views and more than 1.5 million likes. The duet between 17-year-old Elizaveta Elina and popular Russian singer Irina Dubtsova was the most-watched video.
