Domashny Arest receives special Nika film award

For the first time in the history of the Nika Award, the coveted statuette was awarded to a series that was not shown on television.

The 32nd Nika Award ceremony was held in Moscow on March 30. A special prize “For creative achievements in television cinema” was awarded to the creators of the series Domashny Arest (Home Arrest) - the author of the idea, its producer and screenwriter Semyon Slepakov and the series’ director Pyotr Buslov. This marked the first time in the history of the Nika Award that a statuette was awarded to a series that was not shown on television.
