Seventeen works of Gazprom-Media’s television channels, including TNT, TV-3, Friday!, NTV and Match TV, reached the final of the prestigious contest in the field of television marketing and design, PromaxBDA Promotion, Marketing and Design Global Excellence Awards 2017. The projects of these TV channels are represented in 13 categories. The winners of the contest will be announced at the PromaxBDA conference in June.
TNT channel is the leader among Russian television channels in terms of the number of projects that made it into the shortlist. TNT has 11 projects represented in five PromaxBDA categories. The promos to the films X-Men and Die Hard are the finalists in the nomination “Theatrical films shown on television campaign.” Videos that integrated characters from the animation Angry Birds and the film Alice Through the Looking Glass into the formatting of the television channel are represented in the nomination “Brand integration campaign show promotion.” The shortlist in the nomination “Brand integration using multiple media” includes five works of TNT. The viral video “Harry Potter is returning to Russia” features in the nomination “Content for digital promotion.” The long read created for the launch of the series Olga is presented in the nomination “Program promotion website.”
Two works of TV-3 channel made it into the shortlist in three nominations. The promo to the new season of the TV series Vikingi (Vikings) is contending for victory in two nominations: “Holiday/seasonal/special events spot” and “Seasonal or special event programming spot.” The promotional video to the show Byt ili ne Byt (To be or not to be) is represented in the nomination “Clip-based entertainment promo.”
Two works of the television channel Friday! are also represented in three nominations. The promo video to the show Sekretny Millioner (The Secret Millionaire) will compete for victory in the nominations “Sound design” and “Non-fiction programming promo.” Meanwhile, the design of outdoor advertising to the show Ex na Plyazhe (Ex on the Beach) is included in the nomination “Outdoor static ad: art direction & design.”
ID-videos by NTV channel are represented in the nomination “Interstitial/short form spot or campaign.” One work of Match TV is contending for a prize in the “Photography” nomination. The TV channel made a 2017 print calendar “Match! Bez Ogranichenii” (Match! Without Limitations) in which Russian Paralympic athletes took part.
