Biography

2001 to 2012 – Worked in various positions at the NTV television channel. From 2001 to 2004, he served as Editor-In-Chief of the program Namedny (Recently) hosted by Leonid Parfenov. Then until 2006, he worked as an Editor in the channel's news service department and the Editor-In-Chief of its special projects department. He headed NTV's primetime broadcasting from 2006 to 2012.

During his time at NTV, Nikolay Kartozia and his colleagues created a number of popular television programs, including Tsentralnoye Televideniye (Central Television), Superstar, Professiya-Reporter (Profession-Reporter), NTVshnyky (NTV Crew), among others.

2000 – Editor-In-Chief and Correspondent for the Vesti news bloc on VGTRK (Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company).

Nikolay Kartozia was born in Moscow on May 5, 1978. He earned a journalism degree from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2000 and later defended a thesis on cognitive linguistics. Nikolay Kartozia has worked in the television industry since 1999.
